Anxiety is one of the leading causes of ill health in our western society.

It causes problems in many different ways. Anxiety affects our families, our workplace and our relationships. It’s the reason for much absenteeism at work, so our employers will also suffer the ramifications if left unchecked.

Our mental health is just as important as our physical health and eating nutritious meals using home grown veggies will certainly help our state of mind. But we can also use our garden for exercises in mindfulness so that we don’t get lost in our thoughts.

Mindfulness is about paying attention to what is around us and learning to stay in the present moment. Follow along with me as I practice a mindfulness exercise in my garden and show you how to tap into all of your 5 senses.

In this video you’ll learn the steps to do a mindfulness exercise in your own garden too.
